Second location without the need for a second location: with FAST LTA STAR, we offer protection for your Silent Cubes system in the event of a disaster. Your local system (or your first FLEX instance) is replicated in our data center. This means that your data is always backed up, even in the event of a total failure.

STAR beats Cloud.
STAR is like your own replicated system - but with us and without any investment in your own hardware. The second location serves as a safeguard against the total failure of your primary system. We provide you with a Silent Cubes system in our data center and you only pay for maintenance. In the event that your local system fails due to fire, water damage, theft or destruction, your data is stored with us.
Your data reinsurance
Unlike cloud offerings, at STAR we use exactly the same system that you rely on for local storage: The Silent Cubes with erasure coding and WORM sealing via hardware. So you can be sure: Your data is kept private and secure. The STAR system is used exclusively for replication, there is no data access except for monitoring. As nobody can access it, data leaks are also ruled out. We also monitor the system 24/7 in order to be able to react quickly to hardware failures and other problems.
In the unlikely event that your local system needs to be completely replaced, we create a 1:1 copy within our data center. As this is done using the system's own replication tools, compliant auditing is maintained. This system, which now contains all your data, becomes the new primary system at your first location.

You retain the benefits of our storage systems and full control over your data. They are stored on a Silent Cubes storage system exclusively for you instead of in a shared environment as is usually the case. The currently most secure solution for storage with WORM sealing is used everywhere: Silent Cubes Pro.
Just as you would expect from a pure cloud offering, the Silent Cubes system performs its service for you maintenance-free and in the background once it has been set up. You hardly have to worry about expansion, maintenance and software updates - all you need to do is consult with us to ensure that the STAR system remains at the same level as your local instance.

Große WORM-Archivspeicher müssen keine hohen Investitionen nach sich ziehen. Mit FAST LTA FLEX vermeiden Sie Investition in eigene Hardware und feste Vertragsbindungen über 5 oder mehr Jahre, so dass Sie flexibel entscheiden können, wann sie welche Speicherlösungen einsetzen wollen.
Alles inklusive
Wir stellen Ihnen je Standort ein aktuelles Silent Cubes Pro System mit genügend Speicherplatz für Ihre Daten zur Verfügung.
Der erste Standort liegt immer in Ihrem Rechenzentrum, wo wir mit Ihnen zusammen das System installieren und an Ihre Infrastruktur anbinden. Dadurch werden die Daten dort gespeichert, wo sie erzeugt und auch benötigt werden. Sie haben zudem vollen Zugriff auf das System – so, als wäre es Ihr eigenes.
Beim zweiten System können Sie wählen, ob das System an einem zweiten Standort bei Ihnen oder in unserem hochsicheren Rechenzentrum vor den Toren Münchens laufen soll. Dieses Zweitsystem dient der Absicherung für den Ernstfall. Sollte das Primärsystem durch Katastrophen wie Brand oder Überschwemmung oder z. B. durch Diebstahl komplett ausfallen, sind die Daten nach wie vor auf dem Zweitsystem vorhanden.
Die monatlichen Kosten decken alles ab: Hardware, Software, Lizenzen und CARE Wartung – Sie müssen sich um nichts kümmern, behalten aber dennoch die volle Kontrolle über Ihre Daten. Durch das integrierte Monitoring wissen wir rechtzeitig, wenn Sie Zusatzkapazitäten, ein System-Update oder einen Wartungseinsatz benötigen. Nach Absprache mit Ihnen erledigen wir auch dies im Rahmen des FLEX-Vertrags.

Dabei behalten Sie die Vorteile unserer Speichersysteme und die volle Kontrolle über Ihre Daten. Diese liegen – egal ob in Ihrem Rechenzentrum oder in unserem – auf einem für Sie exklusivem Silent Cubes Speichersystem statt wie üblich in einem Shared Environment. Dabei wird überall die derzeit sicherste Lösung zur Speicherung mit WORM-Versiegelung eingesetzt: Silent Cubes Pro.
Ganz, wie Sie es von einem reinen Cloud-Angebot erwarten würden, verrichtet das Silent Cubes System nach der Einrichtung für Sie wartungsfrei und im Hintergrund seinen Dienst. Um Ausbau, Wartung und Software-Updates müssen Sie sich kaum kümmern – es bedarf lediglich der Terminabsprache und einen Einsatz vor Ort, falls die Thematik (Updates) nicht remote gelöst werden kann.
